eat. save. repeat

The BOGO App, Inc. was founded on the premise that restaurant businesses shouldn’t shut down as often as they do! Restaurant owners are an extremely important group of employers across the country and it’s unjust that so many of these entrepreneurs struggle to make ends meet.

In 2017, in the United States, approximately 14.7m people will find their paychecks coming from a restaurant, according to the National Restaurant Association. That’s almost 10% of the employment market in the United States. Canada tacks on another 1.2m people receiving their paychecks directly from a restaurant (also close to 10% of their labor force).

What’s even more important to understand is that more than 7 out of 10 of those restaurants are single-location businesses. Known as “mom and pop shops”, these single location restaurants are critical to the national economy, yet the government does very little to actually help them succeed.

Everybody has heard things like “Only 1 in 10 restaurants make it to year three” or “6 out of 10 restaurants close in their very first year”, and while these numbers can be tough to actually measure, one thing is for sure – too many hardworking restaurant owners are forced to close their business due to low revenues and low profits.

BOGO is a savings platform that allows restaurant owners to offer motivated customers who love to eat out, the opportunity to save money during these tough economic times! In doing so, everybody wins – the consumer who eats out a few times a week, as well as the restaurants whose business benefits from a greater flow of customers.
